太史文（Stephen F.Teiser）

普林斯頓大學宗教系博士。現為普林斯頓大學宗教系鈴木大拙佛學講座教授。作為佛教和中國宗教研究專家，太史文教授的作品主要通過絲綢之路沿線發(fā)現的各類文獻、文物來揭示其背后體現的宗教文化交流。專著《中國中世紀的鬼節(jié)》（The Ghost Festival in Medieval China , 1988），獲1988 年度美國學術團體協會宗教史領域處女作獎�！丁词踅洝蹬c中國中世紀佛教冥界的形成》（The Scripture on the Ten Kings and the Making of Purgatory in Medieval Chinese Buddhism ,1994），獲1996 年度美國亞洲學會列文森獎�！对僭焐垒� ：中世紀佛教寺院中的輪回圖》（Reinventing the Wheel: Paintings of Rebirth in Medieval Buddhist Temples , 2006）獲2007年度法蘭西銘文與美文學院儒蓮獎。此外，作為哥倫比亞大學出版社佛教文獻研讀叢書的主編，他還與人合編有《〈妙法蓮華經〉研讀》（Readings of the Lotus Sutra ，2009）和《〈壇經〉研讀》（Readings of the Platform Sutra ，2012）。
